The HX400IS comes with a 2400 mAh Lithium ion battery that provides up to 17 hours of run time and recharges the large 2.4 Amp battery in as little as 3 hours with the included rapid charger. The compact HX400IS provides a built-in noise cancelling microphone and voice scrambler for clear and private communications, a feature normally found in much more costly units. The HX400IS comes preprogrammed with all US, Canadian, and International NOAA Weather Channels.
